- Surface dielectric barrier discharge coupled with fluid
-
The surface dielectric barrier discharge (SDBD) is featured for the presence of a dielectric. It is a
typical discharge configuration widely seen in plasma assisted applications (medicine, jet, flow, ignition et al).
A direct comparison between measurement and numerical simulation at atmospheric air can be found in Ref [1].
This example calculates the same case as in Ref [1] and excessively calculates the fluid shockwave propagation
and current (displacement and conductive current).

The Pin-Plane discharge is the basic configuration of plasma reactors. A direct comparison between
measurement and numerical simulation at atmospheric pressure can be found in Ref [2].
This example calculates the same geometry as in Ref [2] and excessively calculates the
combustion reaction wave propagation.
