- Surface dielectric barrier discharge
-
The surface dielectric barrier discharge (SDBD) is a typical discharge configuration widely
seen in plasma assisted applications (medicine, flow, ignition et al). A direct comparison
between measurement and numerical simulation at atmospheric air can be found in Ref [1].
This example file calculates the similar condition of Ref [1] with configuration files provided.

The Pin-to-Plane discharge is the most common configuration for diagnostics and
application of low temperature plasmas. An example calculation of streamer-spark
transition in pin-to-plane configuration can be found in Ref [2]. This example reproduces the work
in Ref [2] with detailed input files provided.

The Pin-to-Pin discharge is used to generate strong spark discharges and can be found in
many ignition devices. Systematical calculations have been done in previous publications.
This example reproduces the work in Ref [3] with detailed input files provided.
